The Temperature Dependence of the QCD Running Coupling
نویسنده
چکیده
We study the running of the QCD coupling with the momentum squared (Q) and the temperature scales in the high temperature limit (T > Tc), using a mass dependent renormalization scheme to build the Renormalization Group Equations. The approach used guaranty gauge invariance, through the use of the Hard Thermal Loop approximation, and independence of the vertex chosen to renormalize the coupling. In general, the dependence of the coupling with the temperature is not logarithmical, although in the region Q ∼ T 2 the logarithm approximation is reasonable. Finally, as known from Debye screening, color charge is screened in the coupling. The number of flavors, however, is anti-screened.

Finite temperature QCD coupling constant- imaginary versus real time framework
The correspondence between the imaginary time and real time thermal running coupling constant is discussed. The temperature dependence is derived in pure QCD at one-loop order in a generalized momentum subtraction (MOM) renormalization scheme.

One of the most serious principles in production theory in economic is the principle of "efficiency". Simply put, efficiency can be defined as the demand that the desired goals (outputs) are achieved with the minimum use of the available resources (inputs). In order to, distinguish the relative efficiency of organizational units with multiple inputs to produce multiple outputs, "Data Envelopmen...

We present results from a detailed study of singlet free energies in full QCD with realistic quark masses. An improved scheme for the non-perturbative renormalization of the Polyakov loop is used and we compare its temperature dependence for QCD with different flavor content. We also analyze screening masses extracted from singlet free energies at various temperatures close to and above the QCD...

We study effects of the running of the coupling in QCD at small Bjorken-x and in particular the ones related to gluon saturation. After introducing the steps taken to the derivation of the next to leading order nonlinear evolution equation, we discuss the infrared sensitivity of the Pomeron intercept, the energy dependence of the saturation momentum and the appearance of geometrical scaling, an...
متن کاملTHREE-LOOP RUNNING OF THE STRONG COUPLING CONSTANT AND THE MASS OF THE b QUARK IN THE SUPERSYMMETRIC QCD
Supersymmetric extension of the QCD (SQCD) is considered, and the scale dependence of some important parameters, i.e., strong coupling αs and b-quark running mass mb, is studied with the help of three-loop renormalization group equations. Fiveavour QCD is considered as a lowenergy effective theory of SQCD, and two-loop decoupling (threshold) effects are taken into account. Variations in running...
